It will tow those items just fine. Ive towed 2000 lbs in a trailer with 900 lbs in the bed. Did great, especially with the 5 speed. I also have heavy duty helper springs.

my boats about 2600 lbs not including any equipment. I add the equipment and add about 200-300 lbs and am able to take it to my local lake(30 mi). I stayed with the speed limit on the free way(65-70mph) and highway(50-55 mph).

The only trouble I had was with the massive hill that is right before the lake. To stay at least 45-50mph I had to get into high RPM(near 4000-4500). It gets loud, but its been doing it without a problem for a couple of years.

Call me stupid but i put a 2" ball on my steel bumper and went to town!

(thats a 1976 F100 body and all sheet metal on top of a big ass auto hauler)
(I hauled the frame and powertrain just prior to that)

It was a 50 mile trip from there to my house... back country highway (hills!)/Interstate (65 mph) no transmission overtemp
