What does this mean?

I have money down on a TRD OR Premium DCLB. It was scheduled to be built 5/31 but got this update today. What happens in San Diego? Is that the port that trucks built in Mexico arrive in?

 

What happens in San Diego, stays in San Diego! LOL Could not resist. Correct trucks go thru San Diego on the way to you.

 

Well, that's pretty good news. I'm hoping to take delivery by the 20th. If it's built and in SD by 6/5, that might happen. Thanks!

 

My truck built in Guanajuato came in to the port of Long Beach. I think Baja trucks come to San Diego, but I am not sure.

 

The VIN tracking says it is being built in Baja.

 

Once your truck is built - you will know because the pre-vin will no longer work and the dealership will get the real VIN - ask your dealership to send you an occasional screen shot of the Dealer Daily status on your truck. You can track it's progress to you that way. Here's a copy of the last one I got for my truck.

 

Truck is built and VIN has been assigned. Now the really painful wait begins.

 

Just as a basic tidbit of info- Canadian dealers (or at least the one I work at) don't use dealer daily.

 

Allocated? It was assigned to go to the port in San Diego
