I've been searching every where and cant seem to find the correct part. I have spent an hour looking, found a part went to Autozone and turns out it was the wrong part. Does anyone know this part number or where to find it? I thought it disconnects, but it unscrews from both ends.

Try looking for a brake hose it should be the entire piece. From the frame to the caliper.

That looks like one of those deals where you have to go to your local auto store tell them u need a brake hose what diameter and what length. It will be a straight piece that u have to shape to fit yourself

I believe it got damaged by the suspension not having enough slack on it? Thats what I think could be the problem.

you can also go to the parts store and get a piece of brake line make sure it is metric and bend it your self... that is what i always do much cheaper than the stealership i think it is like $5 for a 10 inch piece

Actually, i believe it's number 14 in the diagram. It's just the brake line. If you're going to replace it, just order up some new stainless steel extended braided lines and be done with it.

Isn't that just normal Metal Brake Line not "Brake hose"? You buy it from an autoparts store to length and Flare the ends after you put the flare nut fittings on?

OcTaco sells the Rubber hose above that, as already posted.

Do not worry guys the dealership had the part. I fixed a few things, I have more slack and it took 5 min to change out. Bled the brakes and I am golden. 10$ fix

You're correct I used the wrong terminology. It's the brake hose which is #14 in the diagram. Either way I'm glad the OP got it fixed.

A part # for the piece would be handy for future reference.

The lady at toyota managed to find it, I could probably find the part number on the receipt. It was the only one in stock. I was surprised they even had one in stock lol

I mean it was OEM? and I got it from a dealer. I mean its about 6" long piece of metal with 2 threads on each end.

Did you not install extended brake lines with your spindles? I had to install extensions before I even put the calipers back on...

And look at your ABS wire just dangling around

Btw I did strip a hard brake line while replacing mine. Went to advanced auto and got a 6" hard brake line, bent it to fit. $6
