    yeah they tightened it up down there eh. It's still stupid up here. The bank Pre-approved me for a crazy amount of cash when I was shopping for my house. enough that you could sink yourself if you arent responsible.

    When I first got out of college and started looking for a house. I was approved for a mortgage of $250,000 if memory serves. I was making $17.82 per hour back then and wondering ... what will I eat if I actually spend that much money. It was dumb.

    yeah same. My pre-approval was 750K. I wouldnt be able to eat or drive or have heat for that large of a mortgage. Told they lady that was nuts and made it lower the number so I wasnt tempted to spend it.
