Wheel offset

Hi , I have a question about new wheels fitting my 07 Tacoma , I just purchased 265 75 16 tires and wanted to buy the Helo HE878 16 x9 -12 offset , just wondered how bad they will hang out ? I have the leveling kit on truck also , will this combo work ? Ty

 

What tires exactly did you buy? A lot of 265/75R16 tires won't mount a 9" wide wheel. It's important to double check the manufacturer's suggested rim width range to see if it'll mount a 9" wide wheel.

 

I have a 0 offset, and they just barely stick out past the fender. Looks really good. -12 will stick out noticeably from the fender. Some people really like that look that though, so it's all good.

 

Your Helo HE878 16 x9 -12 offset wheel will sit ~2.6" wider than your stock OEM wheel. 16x9 and 265's can work but not recommended by most tire manufacture.
