Hello everyone. I have a 2017 Sr5. Want to push the stance out. I dont necessarily want larger wheels. Have 245/65/r16. Stock rims with atKo2. Want new rims that would push stance by 1 inch on each side. Is this possible without rubbing? What offset should they be?

Thanks. Do you know what the largest tire size with no rub by any chance. Trying to avoid a lift. Feel like it complicates things.

Has anyone modded an Sr5 to a Trd off road or pro. Also is there a way to increase payload via better shock and adding or changing leafs? To pop the back up a bit. Sorry probably annoing questions but I dont know much. I had a 06 TRD sport that i was verry happy with. Frame recall sitting on 17s. Some dumb lady rearended me and wrote it off. Bouggt the Sr5 in 2021 and have been contemplating mods.

I don't have any specific experience to answer your question, but I will say it would be easier to buy a TRD Off Road than to modify it to match. The TRD Off Road has things that the SR5 doesn't, such as an electronic brake booster, crawl control, and a larger rear end. But modding to make it more capable than a stock SR5, that's not a problem.

Yeah i figured as much. THey just cost too damn much in Canada. Peoeple from the States come and scoop them Up. In descent shape even used ones are in mid 50k range. They dont offer any financial inscentives on buying new either. I scooped mine for 38 plus tax and it had 55,000 on the odometer. So figured might as well try and make some upgrades that dont run me too much.

Here's a couple of pictures with zero offset wheels. This is an SR with no fender flares and 245x75 stock tires.IMG_3057.jpg IMG_3060.jpg
