I’m looking at buying a Tacoma in the next few days that has the steel wheels. The parts department has a set of aluminum wheels off a TRD off road that I’d like to install. From reading all the other posts I realize I’ll need to get the correct wheel sensors for the aluminum wheels. First, does anyone know the part number? Second, are any of the wheel sensors from other Toyotas compatible? I’m going to search for a deal instead of paying $120 each or whatever they go for exactly.

The alluminum wheels don't already have the sensors in them?

In this case the dealer is reusing the sensors on the custom wheels and selling the TRD off road wheels and tires in the parts department. The dealer is selling them mounted and balanced for $660.
