Ok, so I have an Alpine PDr-f50, an Alpine 8" type-r and a pair of JL audio TR-650csis. I think the JLs are good speakers, I want something better. I want something with a discreet crossover box, I have already wired for it.

I'm going to take my doors apart again in the spring, and sound deaden them. I don't really want to put those JLs back in...I want to put something better in.

So here's my choices, I need help with the decision. This will be for some 6.5/6.75 component speakers in my Tacoma, looking at about 110 watts RMS+ at 4 ohms.

First, Hybrid Audio. Either the Unity for $422 or the Clarus for $630. I'm leaning towards Hybrid right now, I hear a lot of good things about them. I might go with the Unity since I have the bass thing covered. You think the Clarus is worth another $200?

    Morel Tempo 6:

Image Dynamics CTX 6.5CS, seems like a hell of a speaker for the money:

CDT HD-62. You think these will be better than the Hybrid Unities?

As far as music goes, I'm going thru a big Johnny Thunders phase right now. I listen to everything from Die Antwoord to Neil Young. Red Hot Chilli peepers to Vaugner. I love it all man. I really do. I'll give anything I haven't heard before an honest chance.

So which ones should I go with? I can spend 6 hun on this...but less is better, because I have other shit to buy. Those Tempo 6 for $320 bucks seems very intersting, huh?

You might want to check out Rockford fosgate t3 components. There Nice I own a pair the tweeters not too bright the mid sound amazing. I ditched the passive crossovers tho and went active. I've owned a pair of cdts the beginner line they where okay ..i don't know about there higher end products tho. You might want to research about goin active if you want better sound quality

    Many
With that Budget, Id be all over the Mercury K62 mids. Run them passive for now then switch to active afterwards. They compare to all the mids on the market in the 900+ range
