Which UCA's ?

I'm trying to decide on which UCA's to put on my 2013 DCSB. I have an OME lift with stock UCA's and want to improve things. So far, I'm looking at Camburg, Total Chaos, Icon, and All Pro. To me they all look like quality items.
My questions are: Who has what, and for how long? How many miles and in what conditions? Any issues, problems, and maintenance required? I guess I'm looking for first hand product reviews.
If there is a thread that I didn't find in my search, I'd love to have a link.

The LR ucas have a ball join instead of a uniball, it could lead to problems down the road but I don't think I've read a bad review about them. The tc's are pretty popular and are very robust, as with any uniball UCA it will need maintenance, grease the zerks evrey oil change and I usually put a dab of tri flow on the uni ball and articulate it up and down. You can't go wrong with any of them though.

I went with Built Right Fabrication, I had a set of TC's and Camburg and had nothing but trouble, the BR's I had for about 6 months and I Off road on a regular basis with "0" issues before going to Long travel , Built Right also.

Installed the LR ucas on my 2011 DCOR about 5 months ago. No problems at all. was able to have them dialed in when aligned. Wheeled them a few times.

I have these in conjunction with my OME 3" lift.

No complaints at all.

 

Another +1 for the LRs I forgot about, you can adjust them, the only other ones that are adjustable are the heim jointed ones from tc (about $900) and the icon heim jointed ones (about $1100).

 

LR, several months, no problems.

How much are you willing to spend?

 

Not so much about how much as it is about getting the right part. From what I've seen, and for my use, I don't think I need to go over about $700.

 

There was a set of used camburgs in the buy /sell section for $375 obo. I saw it too late though keep your eyes peeled and you can get a good deal on lightly used ones!

 

I wanted TC. Found someone selling some used ones with new bushings for $400. Been good so far... though they are squeaking right now since I haven't greased them since I put them on in July... guess I need to go lube my balls...

 

Its always best to keep your balls lubed.

 

Just curious, what issues were you experiencing with the Camburg UCAs?
