Called my service guy, told him what's up and he just said a new seal is on order, no questions asked.

Please follow up here and let us know if it fixed it. My concern is I push them to warranty it and it turns out not to be the issue.

Bought a 2017 limited about 3 days ago and I'm experiencing all of the noises mentioned. I guess I will be going back to dealer sooner than anticipated. Those of you getting the door seals replaced please let us know if it's fixing the problem. Thanks

I had the same kazoo sound at highway speed high crosswind. My dealer knew about it and added some type of foam to both window seals. I can't tell they did any work at all. Truck seems to have less wind noise now. It's nice they jumped right on it, no questions asked.

    Will do!
If you've got the noise, push on your glass along the seal. Does it go away or get better?
My service guy is trigger happy with anything warranty-able. I say to him, its not whats warranty-able now, its what isn't when my warranty is up!
After a handful of minor to not so minor issues I'm gonna start pushing free extended warranty..

My wife's constant talking drowns out the wind noise, but leads to other issues. Scotch helps address the secondary issues.

Get it replaced! Had mine replaced and its 80% fixed. Really strong gusts will make happen but BIG improvement. Still there however and service says whatever I do to try and fix it give them the bill and they will reimburse me. Very thankful for my local Toyota dealership, amazing staff and super attentive.

I took mine in for a few issues, but the wind noise from the weather stripping was a big one. The dealer couldn't duplicate the sound, so they didn't fix it. I also wanted the LCAs plugged, but they said they couldn't duplicate that either.

Kind of frustrating considering the plugs probably cost $5 and take a minute to put in. They know there's a TSB, why not just put the plugs in.

Anyone have any luck with the dealer replacing the door seals? Not sure what I can do to get them to fix it.

    Thanks!!

I had the kazoo sound with crosswinds through the passenger window. Dealer knew about it and fixed it without hesitation. I do believe there is a TSB for this. And, its common issue in the 2nd gen as well.

I have seen the TSB for 2nd gen, but not 3rd. Any reference numbers on the 3rd? And seems that having a TSB doesn't matter to my dealer. They won't fix if they can't duplicate.

Is trying a different dealer my best bet?!?!

    Thanks

Make an audio clip. Sucks they're difficult...
My dealership didn't even take it to replicate sound, he said its a known issue and a new seal is on the way!

I gave them part numbers for someone who had seals replaced. Gave those to the dealer and they told me if I wanted them it would cost me $81 each seal. They said that part number is the only one for seals that show up in his computer, so he didn't think there were new seals.
