Having a loud wind noise on my tacoa . I brought it to the dealer and that was a waste of of time. So I will attempt to take off the mirrors and put 3M tape on the back plate od the mirrors to see if that fixes the issue.

Talking about the cross wind howl/kazoo noise? There is a solution here. It is to insert irrigation line in your door seal. Search for the thread, it has all the instructions.

What Jeff said is completely correct. I had the kazoo noise before and it sounds like the mirrors but it's the door weather strip... like he said irrigation line is the fix. There are a couple threads on it

i posted the new TSB thats out for this concern in a few other threads. its TSB# 0170-16. it replaces the 2 front door weather
strips. advise your dealer of this bc they may not search for specific cross wind noises. in other words, if they search wind noise...it wont come up....they have to search cross wind noise.
if youre out of warranty...the part #s are as follows

    double cab
    67861-04062
    67862-04062

    access cab
    67861-04051
    67862-04051

    and yes it fixed it.

There's a fresh air vent right behind the back seat panel. That may be your wind noise. I know I took my rear panel off and it's pretty noticeable now. I plan on taking care of it when I build a new rear panel and floor.
