Windoors on Leer 100XR

I recently purchased a LEER 100XR topper with windoors and didn’t realize that the windoor struts want to push the window up to almost vertical. The issue with that is my 70inch Yakima core bars interfere with the window opening fully. I’m positive the window is going to shatter into a thousand pieces one day when I forget the bar is up there. Just wondering for those of you running the same topper and rack setup on your Leer 100XR what length bar you’re running on the skyline towers without it touching the windoor when fully open?

My guess is downgrading to 60inch core bars and selling the 70inch ones would do the trick but just figured I’d ask here first. I’ll do all the work tomorrow to push the bars over about five inches on one side to be sure but just thought I’d ask here as well in case someone else has run into the same issue.

 

There has got to be a easy limiter fix for the struts (picturing house screen doors, but those are horizontal limiters)... I like rockin the long bars too

 

hahaha I ended up taking a hacksaw to them!!! Fixed it!
