wiper switch question

    Hey everyone--first time poster
    After reading many threads I purchased a
    $158 84652-02710 Toyota Genuine Parts - Switch, Windshield W (84652-02710)
    84652-02710 switch
    went in easy but turning the intermittent part does nothing--I now have 2 fast speeds and 1 really fast speed. Truck is a 2015 Access cab base 2.7L---think that's what it is called, has steering wheel radio and phone controls--AC, power windows but not much else
    What went wrong?

    several people said they had good results with the 02710 in a 2015
    looks like I may have a barely used switch for sale

    I used that switch in my 2015 and it works like it should. Does adjusting the speed on the intermittent setting change the speed at all?

    sleep fixes everything--do not know why but they did not work last night
    This morning it also did not work but when I turned them on with the delay at the bottom
    it started working. Merry Christmas to me--and to you all also
