Hey all. I have a 2006 Tacoma. I watched a YouTube video on how to program a key remote to lock and unlock the truck. After doing so the remote works but now the truck won’t shift out of park and the turn signals won’t work. I tried undoing the battery thinking maybe it would reset something but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

IG1 fuse is probably blown. As for why it blew, you’re going to have to figure that out. It could be something with the reverse lights or trailer light connector.

Also, if you pulled out IG1 fuse to check it, and then shoved it back into the unused slot, 1 position to the left, that would do it also.

It ended up being the IG1 fuse. As to why it tripped I can’t figure that out but it hasn’t happened again since I replaced it. It’s crazy I wouldn’t have thought a little fuse like that would cause the problem. Thanks @Muddinfun
