My 96 Tacoma has the typical rusted out frame. I found a rust free 95 frame for it. I have painted it with frame paint and Eastwood internal frame coating. I replaced the rear springs with General Springs HDs. I will be using poly bushings throughout. Here is the progress so far.

What did you end up paying for the 95 frame?

I bought a complete truck that a tree fell across. Had to give $1500 for it, but the frame was almost perfect. The only damage the frame had was a bent core support mount. Easy fix.

Oh. The 95 also had lock out hubs, which I wanted, and a good fuel tank. The tank on the 96 leaks if I fill it over 3/4 full.
This isn't my first rodeo. This is the 4th 4 wheeled vehicle I've built from parts and pieces. I've also built 3 motorcycles.
