Those accents came out well man. Girls that enjoy modding are keepers. Shoot, i helped a close friend de-mod her 2010 2.0T Genesis Coupe. She traded it in on the R Spec 2014 version. Half of her mods were on the next day, and a new intake by the following week. Lol. She's got the mod bug for sure.

Absolutely! She's been shoppin for lowering kits ( think we are just gonna do the TRD kit) and some other mods for it. I have an idea on what it will look like after we are done with it. Gonna look sweet. Then ill start on the performance stuff for it.

Well, from what I gathered from that site, that horsepower freaks was just a site that advertised for Vivid? I say this because when I went to the contact link, it gave the name and address to Vivid. There are also pics and their logo all over that site. So

Well here is the name of the shop where Clifford's XR is. Performance Specialties and Innovations.

TRD drop, strut tower bar, and sway bars, and that thing wil stick to the asphalt like tar!

You think we should go with some TRD coils? There are so many options as far as lowering coils. Drove myself crazy this morning looking over everything for TC's and scouring forums. I have a mental image of what we want it to look like and sit. Tough to track down what we need.

A nice 1" drop atleast. Maybe a little more. Body kit. Wheels.. holy hell there are more things to look out for than our trucks.. and I thought they were bad. Decided on XXR 527's in flat/matte black. Either the 18x8 or 18x9 OR.. the 8" wide up front and 9" in the rear. Just want to fill the fenders and make em flush. Read that rolling the fenders might news to be done with 18x9's.

My friend has an '08. Very clean. He is running TEIN springs. On the verge of too low. He is trying get me a picture. H&R springs, TRD, or Tanabe. >>> http://www.tanabe-usa.com/product.asp. Careful though. She might start wanting to mod more than you do.

 

always been a fan of H&R after I heard that eibach makes them
I ALMOST got a set for my maxima, but went with eibachs and konis.

TRD coils for her. Not too low, it will handle like a dream, but she won't be crawling over speed bumps like my slammed Civic does. Going low is fun but once you hit a point you have to start buying tons of suspension parts to get it right where you don't destroy your tires from camber and other issues. Also if you go too low it rides like shit. The TRD kit should allow you to get a nice ride height without having to go in and change up a ton of parts.

hahaha.. i dont think that will happen.. she keeps having to tell me to calm down on HER car.. i wanna mod the crap out of it. been trollin some scion/tc forums and have found a lot of inspiration.

ahhh.. ok. yeah thats a tad too low. will most likely just go with the TRD springs and call it day. she will have to adjust to driving a low car anyways.. so anything lower i think will be a nightmare.

So im thinkin I want to save up for some Deavers.. j66 pack. anyone know if im able to run the overload with it as well? for extra capacity and that extra amount of lift (thickness of the overload)

maybe just some new leafs with help my lean.. not to mention the ride and the other benefits of just new leafs. then some extended rear shocks.. Icon or similar. probably Resi's. CDC's for the rear?

then the fronts.. same as above? thats my next goal.. get this suspension in a better spot... ill feel more confident about it.

Your making me wonder about the overload though because sdhq took that off per the recommendations when adding my icon AAL but I feel like it sags more than I'd like.

Ummm.. you can put the overload back in. I did. I don't know why they said you couldn't. Its definitely too soft without it.
