    Welcome to my build page! My tacoma hasn't been my daily driver since 2015ish and is primarily used more like an RV. These days the only times I bust out the tacoma is when we're going on a camping trip of some sort.

    Some of the trails in Moab that I've survived.



    The only other named 4x4 trail that I can think of that I've done (twice) is the Whipsaw trail up in BC, Canada. Of course I've been on countless other trips and many of them are here in my build thread.

    This weekend I built a unistrut rack for my cap and installed my new CVT Mt. Shasta. Definitely going camping next weekend!

    Got some more work on the truck done today. First thing I did was install the annex channel on the RTT. That'll be nice not having to take the cover off in order to install the annex.

    I also wired up a switch I've had sitting around for almost a year for my air compressor.



    I used this heavy duty relay they sold me at autozone since I needed something capable of handling a few more amps. Like the switch I purchased it almost a year ago so I forget what the part is called exactly but it's not technically called a relay. I remember the guy behind the counter said dudes running hydraulics use these things on their compressors all the time. It works so I guess I'm happy.

    This last week was a busy one. I got my CBI Moab 2.0 installed along with a Tuff Stuff winch. I also got to take the new RTT out for a test spin at Sloquet Hot Springs near Pemberton, BC.

    Here is the only picture I took the whole weekend:



    Everyone else in our group was very jealous of our setup :D

    No not at all. It was almost as if it was made for an RTT it was so easy. I bolted the unistrut to the top of my cap to use as a channel since my cap didn't have any, then I used a 1 5/8" piece of unistrut as a riser, then the rack on top of that. Really it was super simple.

    Did you put another unistrut under your cap or just long bolts with a wide enough washer?

    No unistrut on the inside of the cap. Although it looks like a lot of people are going that route. I just used a large fender washer and a nyloc nut. I also used these cool washers that have a rubber piece of them on the top of my cap but under the unistrut. They keep the unistrut slightly off the cap and they help seal water out of the holes.
