My 2013 4x4 has about 80k miles looking for feed back about the leaf springs. Found no recall on my truck but the end of my bed bounces up and down when going around 50 mph. Seems that the bed sinks dramaticly with any wieght in the back. Leafs look like there almost bending down. Looking for new leafs or should i jus add a leaf? Thanks

A few mods here and there and counting....
Get a new leaf pack(Dakar). Or check craigslist for set of oem recall tsb pack if you're not gonna lift the truck. If your stock pack is still decent, you can get 3 leaf aal setup.

Your 2013 is likely out of the window for the TSB for driveline vibration where you could of gotten the 3+1 leaf pack from toyota. Your 2013 TRD OR has stock a SUUUUPPER shitty 2+1 leaf pack (they though they would put softer suspension on the rear of the TRD OR to make it more compliant off road).

That stated i had the TSB done to my truck, and the 3+1 leaf pack with single 2in AAL i have is alright, but dakar EL095R mediums are currently on their way to replace those shitty stock soft ass noodle springs.

I wish Toyota wrote checks for TSB. If I am going in for a TSB, at least give me the option to get cash towards a better, aftermarket option. Don't replace shit with shit..

FYI everyone.... ebay is doing a sale today 15% off and most of the dakar packs you can find on ebay are eligible. FYI i made an offer to a seller on ebay on sunday for 350 shipped for a pair of EL095R's and they accepted.... wish i had waited to pay till today cus that woulda been 300 bucks for a full set of dakars! O well.

A TSB is nothing more than an aid to assist the tech in diagnosis of a common issue. They aren’t paying you out on it.

I used a 3 leaf AAL (Dealer F59) when my truck was new and was experiencing axle wrap under hard braking. Best decision I could had ever made. I loaded up a rear end of 300 lbs at least (4X4 K1500 GMC Yukon full on rear end axle assembly) recently and the rear end didn't even squat or sink. The stock 4 leaf pack is decent if you have a quality AAL backing it up. That is just my opinion.

Yep. I would tell the Toyota techs the same thing about getting a check every time I saw a truck in there getting a leaf TSB.

Sounds like the shocks are on their way out causing the bounciness.

The leaf's suck but may not be the cause of the complaint.

    Dog.
I added a Wheelers AAL to mine and it sorted it right out. Not bad for $60, I think it was. No more arse sag and no need to replace the pack. Yes I have hauled a fair amount of weight in my Baja...
    Cheers,

    Agreed.

I have the wheelers 2in single AAL and axle wrap is SO oh SO SO bad with them, its scary how bad it is and how hard it has to be on the driveline.
