Cool! Mark Twain is a pretty area, I used to ride motorcycles out there on occasion around Bunker, MO. Give me shout if you head there sometime, I might be able to meet up. I mean, I have a skid plate now, I can totally offroad

    Drive-up Dr. Appt.

Sunday I started coming down a cold or URI something Kept getting worse. I coughed most of the night for two nights. Called the Dr. yesterday and asked if there was something they could do.

Drive by the office and we will give you a quick covid test. I noted that I've been vaccinated for way over a month.

They said to stay in your car and we will come out and test you when you get here. The nurse comes out and takes a test. Ok, I'll have results in 15 minutes.

They called back and said the test was negative.

The doctor came on the phone and said he would like to use a different test and that he would come out and examine me in the truck. So he came out, gave me a deeper covid test. Then listened to my breathing, took vitals, and said he would call in a prescription.

He prescribed a z-pick, steroids, and a bottle of codeine and sent me on my way.

    Talk about a drive-in doctor's office.

    Now that is service.

Hence why I'm not worried about 31s and stock skids

I got no shame in admitting I'm a lightweight wheeler, I only own a capable truck because I'm a crazy person that wants to be prepared to drive over urban landscaping should shit ever hit the fan and I get to live my life long dream of being an apocalyptic nomad forager

Growing up in MD/VA I'm all too familiar with that.. although Seattlites are passive aggressive new Yorkers which sometimes feels worse lol

Walking my daughter home from the park and some dude in a 2nd gen blows a stop sign while we're halfway into crossing.

Threw up my arms like wtf man, and kept going. Suddenly he hits the brakes and throws his truck in reverse, I'm thinking great...this dude's going to want to throw down with a guy and a baby, he's gotta be a psycho.

Rolls down his window and he starts profusely apologizing, saying he wasn't paying attention, it won't happen again, my bad etc.

That was cool I guess, most people around here just don't give AF
