I got the Super Bumps as well, did you / are you planning on doing the fronts? I was thinking about doing the DuroBumps since I'll be working on everything.

I played it safe with the 4Runner and replaced all 4 calipers when I did the brakes. They had over 300k miles at the time and some of the piston boots were torn, so they needed it.

I don't think they make the Superbumps for the front, though some guys have modified the rear Superbumps to fit up front.

Yeah I got Super Bumps for rear, was going to do those Duro Bumps I linked to up front. I didn't know if anyone was running them / if they're worth it.

I’m really hoping the super bumps will save my icons from dying, kinda nervous they’re way too short

I look forward to my mass install!! Can I ask you the same question 30 million different ways while I'm doing it, while ignoring anything useful you say and responding with my own useless pictures?

I've seen people add a spacer...no idea if it's a good/effective idea or not but:

I figured on modifying the stock ones with a lift of their own and/or buying the durobump ones.

Kinda don't want the durobumps cause the rubber is so much softer and I've heard alot of people tearing them

Thanks. I don't know anyone who has run them so I don't know much about em. Be a bummer to drop $100 and tear them though.

    That’s a hell of a spacer.

I’ll just have to see how it goes, hoping to install at some spot this week.

I've had Superbumps plus those same Icons in the rear for near 50k miles with no issues, 3" rear lift.

The Durobumps are pretty soft compared to stock. But they feel much better that way. My first set tore pretty bad, they sent me another for free. They even sent me another set after I lost one when it fell off. I was told the newer ones don't rip as easily, so far they've lasted much longer.

I've always had a good experience getting in touch with him. I've heard other people say otherwise though. He used to be active on TW but now he's over on the other forum that cannot be named.

Either way I just emailed and got through in a timely fashion both times

Honestly I don't know how much lift my Alcans gave me either lol. I never measured from stock so I don't have anything to compared to. My back end is almost 2" higher than the front though, I know that much.

I’ll just have run them and see how they look.

If I ever get my truck back anyway.

I've been giving the Wheelers bump stops a pounding on the front. It uses 4 bump stops for the front. Then I put Timbren on the rear. A strange combination that works for that heavy beast.

I used Durobump's up front on the 4Runner, which are the same for the Tacoma.

Just cycle your leaf pack to find out how much actual room you need.

They sell spacers for those rear Super Bumps.
