Pop N Lock + Hose Clamp. DTRL, AFE drop-In Dry filter, 6-1/2" Replacement Speakers, JVC HD Radio, Sam's club variety Floor mats (cheap but effective), Chrome Exhaust tip, Bed Mat from ol' Ford Ranger. As of 3/25/2020, the Odometer just turned 70K.
I have a 2007 TRD Sport with the factory 17" Silver wheels.

I purchased 4 used 17" TRD Wheels in very good condition from Craigslist to replace my existing 17" factory TRD wheels due to silver chrome plating all flaking off & peeling on all 4 wheels. I did not bother to inquire what year the "used 17" wheels came from since I was going to just pop off my old center caps and put them on new "used wheels."

Lo & hold, to my surprise, my old center caps DID NOT fit the new wheels. The old center caps, although fit the hole, would not properly click on to the "indented grooves" on the wheels. The new wheels & my old wheels look EXACTLY alike so I was like, WTF !!. However upon close look, I discovered there were very subtle differences in how they clip on. Have a look at how the plastic notches are supposed to clip inside the grooves.

Thru some researching, I discovered that there were two different part numbers of CENTER CAPS for 2nd Gen Tacos. My question is, does anyone know the part number of the "OTHER" center caps that is not "42603-AD070?"

Apparently my 2007 TRD Sport came with 17" factory wheels with the "42603-AD070" center cap. So I am looking for the "OTHER part #" center caps.

Look at the last two photos. Note the location & shape of the grooves where the center cap plastic notches are supposed to "latch/click" on. There are very subtle differences. Do you see them? Hard to distingush, but the differences are there. I assume the newer center caps were used on post 2007 years, like for 2010-2015 or such...

Thanks for looking at the post and shedding some lights...

3rd Photo is the new "USED" wheels and the 4th photo is the original "old flaking & peeling" wheels.

Sorry about keep replying to my own post, but since my old center caps are no longer useful to me, I need to dispose them (hopefully swap or exchange with the "other" center caps). These center caps are in good to excellent condition. Even swap or trade would be nice, but PM me if you are interested. I am sure something can be worked out..

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I do not have any pic of the CENTER CAPS that would fit the new wheels. I was hoping to obtain the part # so that I can look them up. I know the ones (center caps) I got is the 42603-AD070 as can be seen in the first photo.

Did the TRD Off road came with 17" Allow wheels? I thought only the TRD Sport in 2007 came with 17" alloy wheel.... Regardless, yours would most likely have the same part # 42603-AD070 if yours came from 2007 TRD Off Road. I could be wrong. My understanding of the 2nd Gen Tacos are that they were produced until 2015. So after 2010 models and later productions, perhaps came with redesigned clip-on center caps with different grove design??? I am only guessing.

The rim/wheel is exactly same as my 2007 wheels. Here is the photo. This is the new wheel I purchased from Craigslist. I assume it came from a TRD Sport model like from 2009-2015....
