Purchase on 2010 2nd owner of a Super White 2007 Prerunner SR5 V6 4.0L short bed 2WD TACOMA at first i just bought it to haul stuff out from my mothers rental apartments and through the years i started loving the taco

    9BCE9FA9-4508-45BC-A7E7-9BF8F6B984BF.jpg

but first i was inlove with toyota celica's and been building that for awhile in my teenage years.

    A2E048FA-46B1-4AE3-A001-2DD70E6ECAF2.jpg

i gave up the celica to my brother then i joined the US Navy in July 2017 traveled with the tacoma to VA since then and now its been my DD and never fails me. Currently stationed here in NAS Oceana Virginia Beach, VA since 2017 i am active duty in the US Navy.

my plan with the Tacoma is to use till it die’s on me since its my other daily car for long drives and using my spouse 2006 honda civic ex while my spouse is not working yet pretty busy and cut slow on my spending on upgrades because we just recently acquired a new born human that we love so dearly lol but i try my best to do them little as much as i can so that in near far fetch future would love to be able to go on trails eventually with the sick builds around my area and love the outdoors maybe a minimum camping set up in the future.

By the way, I still have fond memories of going to the Navy Exchange at Oceana when I was a kid! The Commissary too! Gotta love tax-free stuff! I even got swimming lessons at the pool on that base!

The Oceana NEX is easily my favorite; My dad was stationed at Moffett Field (1983-1990, 1996-1998), NAS Willow Grove (1990-1996, 2005-2007), NAS Norfolk (1998-2000), NAS Whidbey Whidbey Island (2000-2002), The Pentagon (2003-2005). I can still remember all those tax-free Hot Wheels cars!

By the way, is your truck automatic or manual?

At lease your came with intermittent wipers! What being just a base SR5 mean anyway? Just a brake-actuated limited-slip instead of a locking rear diff? I'm pretty sure most 6-lug SR5s came with fog lights too (which is one feature my truck sorely lacks!).

I got hit by a drunk driver in October 2015, and his court-ordered restitution money paid for my backup camera (and two dashcams). Karma's a bitch! So, I have a Clarion CC250 backup camera mounted above the license plate frame, tied into a double-DIN touch-screen head unit; All 2009-2015 Tacomas that did not come with backup camera are prewired for them. It was pretty much plug and play in my truck, with no extra wiring; All 2009-2015 Tacomas with SR5 trim and above came standard with backup cameras, so that's why the base models like mine came prewired. 2005-2008 models did not come with backup cameras, so I'm guessing installing the backup camera in your truck was a little more complex?
