    I'm installing a new ~2.5" lift on my 1996 4x4, which is great except that the truck will now be so high that my older border collie can no longer leap into the bed. He barely makes it now.

    I'd like to find a dog ramp that I can carry around during our adventures together. Anyone use a model that works well? Recommendations? Thanks in advance!

    I just picked up my girl and put her on the passenger seat .

    If I needed a ramp I would look for a aluminum extension ladder and cut it short enough to work and cover with 1/4" plywood .

    Light enough to throw around a few times a day.

    If a product like this is made I have never looked for any.

    A couple of 2x6's with some carpet stapled to them. $20, tops.

    If you want to get spicy, cut them in half and add a hinge and some handles to make is easier to store.

    Did that for my old fat ass (110#) Golden I had years ago.
