Very nice handy work. This is a super clean method, hands down, "the best." I suspect however that very few people will attempt this method for the fog light mod. Although very well explained (and I agree it is simple), it presumably is way beyond most people's skill set.

I have been planning on reversing the splice mod that I did a while back, and now I think I'll use your method. Thanks for doing the analysis on the pin outs on the junction block.

I'm going to link my thread to yours so that others may find it, and they can decide which method is best for them.

    crap bolted and welded together....
    nice write-up man.

But, what you mean power draw with the switch pressed in with the other method? I ask because i have the simple FLM and never had a problem with my fogs staying on. They shut off when my ignition is off, thus no power draw.

Considering how many times I get PM'd about the original fog light mod I posted I would agree. The number of people on here that can't figure out how to bend 1 tab and add 1 wire is staggering. My pics aren't enough. The instructions aren't enough. They want arrows and diagrams and.....

It's not just you, trust me. I've spent more time explaining it to people that writing it up. lol I'm looking for some better pics now to include. Easier than trying to get under the hood and take them myself and label them. :D

An explanation in the op of what this accomplishes would be a good idea.. I'm guessing this is for fog light anytime?

I'd for sure believe it. In my circuit diagram thread someone asked for a video on how to do it! :( Oh man.

Great fog mod. looks easy and clean. Do you have a similar mod to keep the cig lighter on all the time?

Alright that's what I figured. Just a lot cleaner than jumping the relay and splicing to the green wire.
    Good work!
