Found zero resources for 3rd gen Front Runner installs/builds. So I’m starting one.

If anybody has any information or experience with Front Runner accessories, please dump it here.

Here is my girl Fiona and I’ll update this thread as she progresses.C7BB28CB-A557-435C-9464-0B0CA55A30D8.jpg

Received my Slimline II rack, fishing rod carriers, axe mount, and additional tie downs today.871B514B-8234-4ACC-B749-928646D26EAF.jpgSurveyed all my deliveries and only found a few flaws. A few of the Front Runner Stickers were crooked (45 degrees off on the axe mount), worn powder coat here and there, and a broken lock cover on the rod carriers.

I emailed Front Runner, we’ll see if they will replace the covers. One was broke and the other was hard, like how rubber gets when you leave it in the sun.

Past that, quality is pretty good. Especially on the Rod carrier. Everything else is up to par.

I assembled the actual rack today but will put it on the truck tomorrow. (97 degrees doesn’t sound like roof rack weather).

The Slimline II seemed easy to assemble at first until I got to assembling the corner pieces. If the front/rear bars aren’t perfectly square the corners won’t go on...and you’ll have to loosen everything and try again. Probably took 30 minutes total, the instructions weren’t worth the effort.

I figured I’d dump this here. The TRD Pro has exceeded my expectations thus far. Probably been on a dozen trips since purchasing. The suspension is comfortable on washboards, travel is good, and I don’t foresee changing it for a while. The only thing I feel the need to change is tires. Considering 285/75r16 Ko2s, mainly for the lift.

    Softopper, couldn't live without it.
They are smoked, as well as the 3rd brake light. Also have the windows tinted.

To remedy some suspense, here are some photos of the installed rack/accessories. The write up on the installs are gonna take me a bit.
