Has anyone used longer struts for their leer 100xl so the window lifts higher? I order some that were 17in but were too long compressed and the widow wouldn't shut.

I'd have to double check, but I think my window is limited in travel by the hinges, not the struts.
I recently replaced the struts with factory length but slightly firmer - it's nice to have the window raise on its own again.

Did these end up working for you? Just got a 100XL and it appears to need struts.

Yes they worked perfectly. They are 38lbs so they pop open with some force so just be careful when you turn the handle b/c they window is gonna be coming up fast.

Oh, sorry. I meant the ones on the cap currently say 34lb - not sure if that's stock or replaced once already. Thanks again!

Does the window start to open when unlatched? The ones I have now, I have to lift the window up half way then they open with a vengeance. They’re new but don’t seem to function properly. I want it to start lifting on its own as soon as I open it. Thanks.
