Has anyone ever installed LED spotlights where the fog lights are supposed to go? If so, what kind of lights? Or if you think that is not a good idea then state why.

I don't want to install a bar spotlight system or over top spotlights. I don't have any flood lights in the location where they're suppose to go and from the research I've done, flood lights don't add that much. Whereas, I would love to have spotlights for when I'm driving around on ranches or out in the country.

Btw i just installed the headlights below and they are awesome! They fit perfectly on my 2011 and look sweet.

I can't suggest them enough if you're in the market.

If you plan on driving with them on against traffic then you are going to blind others especially if you're lifted.
But yes people have did them before. They sell foglight mounts on here from a few vendors. Some people use rigid some Baja designs, some cheap Chinese brand off Amazon. Also people run the morimoto fog lights. I have a pair and they work great

@RigginsTaco I would hook them up to an alternate switch and only use them when I'm in the country I would not use them driving against traffic.

Are you talking about installing fog lights where the fog lights go? I am trying to install spotlights where the fog lights are suppose to go.

Yeah I get what you're saying. It's been done I was just saying some people mounted leds pods (spot pattern) down there. There's a guy selling his spot lights that he used for foglights on the bs thread

seal the crap out of those spyder/ebay headlights.

they tend to fog up, leak, the inside sometimes peels the clearcoat as well.
Have a pic of the cutoff?
They used to be terrible optics and worse than OEM.

Thanks for pointing me in that direction. However, those lights are too big to fit into factory foglight mount on the tacoma.
