Super Seal Cap Gasket - Installed Thickness

    My cap leaks between the cap and bed rail. Not much but enough to I want to fix. My dealer will install this type of seal that others on here recommend also.

    My question - how much thicker is this type of gasket when installed? Just wondering how much higher my cap will be after it's installed.

    Dealer has been very good to deal with and will use this type of gasket if I want. He did warn me that the cap will set higher but can't say how much higher.

    It shouldn’t sit much higher. Mabey 1/8 inch That seal will squish down
