You just plug up all your own space, driveway, then family members garages, get a few storage units, and wait long enough you forget where some cars are. I think I'm currently annoying 4 garages and have worthless classics in a storage unit I haven't bothered to open for... oh it's 2022... maybe 10 years now? I just rebuilt that carb....

Let me think... I have, down to 4 at my actual house, another at another house, one more at familys house, another at another familys house, ummm... nope one more but that's in another city, and then the storage units. I think thats is... so... 8? Yeah I left one in a parking lot years ago that's right.

My wife and I always maintain 3 vehicles. 2 for daily drivers, and one that stays in the garage for vacations/fishing trips/weekend drives. Whenever we want a new vehicle, the oldest DD gets sold and replaced by the garage queen.

I try to drive both 4 wheeled vehicles at least once a week. Half an hour + each. Enough to keep all the fluids moving, drive off any moisture, and hopefully deter any rodents. Not a hard and fast rule, but between a hybrid work schedule and grocery shopping / other errands it usually isnt hard to hit.

Back in the old days pre-rona, Id drive the DD 4/5 days to work (~20 miles one way to work) and take the truck just one day to keep everything moving. Save the truck primarily for weekends trips. That worked out to a roughly 50/50 split each year mileage wise.

It is a nice perk to know at least one vehicle will get me where I need to go. Especially after picking up a new-to-me '03 BMW p.o.s. Crazy how little confidence I have in German engineering now that I own one..

Tacoma is the only vehicle now, will see about 10k a year and the bikes do the rest. Matter of fact rode my street-ish track bike to work, on slicks with no mirrors - Brilliant i know.

I have six and it depends on my mood.
    Taco- turning into my daily
G70- used for when I feel zippy or have to do a long drive as it gets 35 mpg on the highway
LC500- About once a week, never in rain, because she’s my princess
EV6- Hubby’s car, driven when he’s gone for travel
Ranger- driven when I want a bare bones experience or have to park downtown
G6- novelty of a convertible wore off quickly and it’s about to get sold

I've done a mod or two
It's flavor of the day for me. Corolla goes to work most days, hard to beat 30mpg for commuting. But sometimes I take the taco or the goldwing. I take the land cruiser if I feel like it or if I need to tow. I take the taco camping/exploring (that's what it's setup for after all). Goldwing gets rides other than work too. It's not great on fuel for a bike but it sure is comfy and fun.

I daily my Saab 9-5 because it gets better mileage than the Taco. I do drive the Tacoma a lot though, I actually just got back from a grocery run in it.

I just put new sportier tires on the Saab, it's fast and handles beautifully. It's been pretty solid for me, even though it looks a little rough. I had a date yesterday and he thought my busted-up Swedish beater was cool though :D

A little of this and a little of that.
I daily drive a 2013 Civic, mostly for the mpg, but it’s an EX with all the creature comforts, and my regular cab Tacoma gets weekly trips to the gun club and of course Home Depot/Lowe’s/Ace. Wife has a 4Runner for her daily, and daughter has her DCSB Tacoma.

The Tacoma is no longer a daily driver. The VW is the daily. 1.5 L Turbo vs a 4 L normal aspiration.

    I have 3 trucks... a 2006 Tacoma DCSB MT, a 2015 Tacoma DCSB AT, and a 2017 F150...

I drive whichever one has more gas in it... if they are all about empty, I take the '06 Taco. It's my favorite of the three...

I do try to drive all three every couple of weeks... it's not good to let vehicles sit too much.

I have 2 daily drivers plus my truck

2009 Suzuki Vstrom 650...I use this to go back and forth to work and run errands.... probably use it 8-10K miles per year
I'll use the bike for camping from time to time and fun rides in the hills on the twisties.

2016 Scion IM...I use this to go back and forth to work and run errands...Probably use it 8-10K miles per year
This is strictly an appliance. It's gone camping once and that was a backpacking trip.

2003 Toyota Tacoma...I use this for camping on the weekends....Probably use it 5-8k miles per year.

1998 Toyota Sienna. At mom’s house; used to drive her around as she is wheel chair bound.
    2007 Toyota Tacoma. My DD.
2018 Lexus RX 350. Wife DD. The one we usually drive to places together. In past six months, we’ve driven to Sedona Az, Lake Tahoe, and the Grand Canyon.
2020 Suzuki DRZ400s. Bought mostly for trail riding, but have found out its a lot heavier for that than I thought it would be. Since it is street legal, and gets 50+ mpg, I ride it to my mom’s house, about 70 miles r/t, two or three times a month.

Lol...I do the drive which ever has gas in it as well.

The problem I've found is the Taco has a 2nd gas tank in it plus super charger so 34 gallons of 91 octane plus the car's 14 gallons, plus the bike's 5.2 gallons plus California gas prices equals $276 for all three if I leave a little fuel in the tank before fill up.

Does anyone else run into the problem of multiple vehicles just happen to need the same parts at the same time?

Like, I'm pretty sure the truck, the car and the motorcycle are all tracking to need tires at the same time. That's 11 friggin tires.

I feel your pain. About 6 months ago, I replaced the tires on my Taco, Mazda 3, and wife's Tahoe all at the same time. Ouch, but that's not the worst of it. We now have a new Hyundai, and F150; decided to trade the Mazda and Tahoe, both with brand new tires on them. The one on the Taco is the only set of new tires that we still have.

Windshield wipers seem to be another thing that come all at once.
