ok so ive heard a few different answers to this question so i decided to try n get more answers.

    1. are the TRD tacos' wheel wells bigger than the non trd's?

    2. is the trd's stock height higher that the non trd's?

    3. are the 4X4's wheel wells bigger than prerunners?

    4. is the 4X4 stock height higher than the prerunners?

The wheels wells are all the same.
The stock height is the same if the models you are comparing have the same size tires.
The double cabs are .2" taller than the other modles.

i thought that all the 6 lug tacos were pretty much the same height. 245/75 r 16 and 265/70 r16 and 265/65 r 17 which are found on the sr5, trd offroad, and trd sport respectively are all the same height tire within 0.1 inches. the width of the tires is different. my truck is a non trd 4x4 and before i lifted it, it was exactly the same height at the trd trucks (prerunners and 4x4)

Now, if you're talking about a 5 lug taco...they are a lot lower than the 6 lug and have smaller tires and wheels 215/70 r 15

well the only reason i ask is that i did the 3" revtek lift n i hav sum 34" tires. n ive seen pics of other tacomas with the same thing BUT they look higher than mine. mine is a prerunner SR5. the other trucks look like they have more clearance.

Did you check your messurements against what it was when stock? Your springs may have sagged.
