    Been there, done that.
Except the mice are usually still alive and the filter covered with acorns.

As mentioned, poke around for damage / more nesting areas, and be aware of the fact that mouse likely wasn't alone.

Yeah works awesome I'm gonna upgrade to the bigger one 10,000 mg/h comes with 12 hr and 24 timer automatic . Wanna use in my basement but works awesome in our trucks just kick the ac on circulating full blast for 20 min then air out for a hour

Use caution with an ozone generator. The ozone will degrade rubber. I use ozonics with my hunting gear and it will cause rubber boots to crack.

Read up on "hanta virus" and make sure you disinfect everything in that area. The dried mouse poop can cause real problems if you breath it.

I also used foaming evaporator cleaner with great success on my other car, but the drain tube had a 90 degree bend so couldn't stuff the long hose in that way, had to pull the hose from behind the passenger floor kickplate, not sure about the Tacoma.

    I added a bolt once...
These things happen... I'll add, run your AC in the winter a few times also just to keep it used.

Your compressor cycles even when the heat is on, to keep condensation down.

Yeah a pair of Irish setter hunting boots will never be the same. If I had them I would post a pic. They had a rubber toe cap and it looked 30 years old. Oxidized and cracked like an old tire.
I have ran the ozone in a truck before but I’m very aware of the time and shut it off after a half hour or so. It is also hazardous to your health to breath.
