The same shit everyone else has.
I know a few of you guys out there have added LED lighting to your cup holders. Lets see how you did it.

Im looking for some inspiration - specifically on manual transmission trucks. Ive seen some good thread for trucks with autos, but everything Ive seen for manual leaves something to be desired. Most of the LEDs are exposed/too bright.

Hiding the LEDs on auto trucks is easy, has anyone come up with a solution for 6 speed cup holder that doesnt leave the LED exposed?

My 5050 strips for footwell lighting make the 3x3mm cupholder lights way less bright.

I have amber in my cupholders and console. They are not bright, just enough to highlight the cupholders at night. I will try to snap a couple of pictures for you tonight.

I can get a pic tonight. I added a a distro block via add a fuse to switched ignition then used a few 5mm led's in the footwells and 1 up into the base of the cup holder with notches for the light to come out, just used some clear tubing to diffuse the beam pattern.

    Leds (pre wired)

These are powerful enough to add good accent lighting, not extremely bright vs some.

Got em from Ozmium.com The 3mm Superbright ones. I sanded down the from curve off on all of them to give them a more flood rather than a spot. There are two mounted underneath the climate controls shinning down using the 3mm LED holders from their site as well. There is one in each cup holder drilled into the side and glued from the back with epoxy. Sits nice and flush to the inside. Shipping was nice a fast too, ordered them and 3 days later there they were.
