Need a good tonneau cover

im a new proud owner of a 2017 TRD sport. Looking for an inexpensive tonneau. Any recommendations? With the track system in the back not sure how I can find one to install myself.

 

Hello there. I have the same issue. There are 2 many types, brands, etc. to choose from. From my past experience I will never buy another BAK cover. Terrible quality and service from the manufacture. I have looked at gator covers and autoanything as well as realtruck sites listed below. Now to decide which fits better, has the most water resistance, will last and if I want a soft or hard cover. Then of course have to decide on over rail, under rail, rolling, folding, powered, and other types.

PS . I just purchased my 1st Tacoma and its a 2017 Magnetic Grey TRD sport double cab. I just purchased Lund Nerf Bars for it that will be a final price after rebate of $119.00.

 

I can use the track system with my TruXedo Lo Pro Qt.

Easy install.. I'm not mechanically inclined and had no trouble putting it on my truck. If you call them you can get them to come down on the price.

That is a nice looking cover. Did you install the tailgate seal or does it come with one?

No it does not come with a tailgate seal. I bought the Ultimate Tailgate Seal on Amazon. When you put the lower seal on put it on upside down, (with the bulb down) The 2nd link shows how to install on the 2016 Tacoma.

Also that cover can be bought for under $400.00 you have to work them to get the price lower. Tell them you want to check other online retailers and that you have one already offering the same cover for less than they are offering.

 

I had a extang 2.0 tri fold cover 5 weeks old just replace with undercover elite . the elite is nice and dry, Extang sitting in my garage

maybe i should have just referenced the brand, there the Tyger brand has been good to me for the price point, maybe they have something available for the 17'
