    Morning meeting; check
I replaced ours after 2 resets mainly due my imagination of what could possibly have accumulated or growing inside filter.
That was a nice shop picture, clean is the way! I've all but give up on trying to keep our shop clean, as all the other departments use it as a dumping ground.

Here’s the ones at work. You can see most of them are twisted, ground down where they’ve been broke, etc. I never have liked or had good success with the four fluted ones.

Here’s two sets I keep in my toolbox for smaller stuff. The center drill part is left handed and you can see some of these are broke as well.

I think the square ones (extractors) work good for tapered thread (my experience). You can drive them in and just get a bite in 4 places rather than a screw in type that wanted to expand the stripped NPT plug.

I’m not gonna mention any names but some people were talking about these center holes being messed up yesterday and they put a hex on them. One of them is a 1/2” off :frusty:

A man told me a long time ago “show me someone who doesn’t mess up and I’ll show you someone who doesn’t do anything”.

I messed up, time to fix them

We just had a gear drive oil pump cloned.
    Absolutely flawless work.
Well it ought to be for $3000,00.
And so we are test fitting parts and getting ready for the next chapter
    On the restore.
Well I take this unit and slide it on and goes down the studs perfectly
until I hit the alignment pins.
    Nope.
    I figure about 0.030 off.

Then grabbed the lower coolant pipe for the head.
    Start to test fit that.

Well, 6 out of 12 bolts ain’t gonna cut it either.

Two different shops in different parts of the country.

At least the $15,000.00 3D cad drawn rear end housing came out ok.

Doing things from drawings is one thing.
Doing things when the piece you want to clone is in your shop
    is something else.
It’s right there to double check.

Damnit! And I was just razzin on you because I didn’t see anything wrong with it either.
I know in my CAD software there’s an “undo” button, did you look on the mill to see if that button exists on it?
