well i was headed to my parents house this past friday, but i had to stop by my buddies house to pick up his ramp for my bike, anywho, i headed out from his house and i saw this deer in the road but in the other lane so i slow down, keep in mind i had a 700lb bike and my wife and 5 month old daughter in the truck so i didnt want to do some bobin and weavin in the new truck so i slowed to about 50mph figuring the deer would head the opposite direction, when low and behold when i got about even with the damn thing it turned and headed right at me hitting at the rear door and sounding like it bounced down my truck. but the only damage that i have found it a couple small dents in the lower part of the rear door. so now i gotta get that fixed. anywho, thats my little vent for the evening.

bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
sorry to hear about the truck vs. deer collision, hey at least everyone is ok right? that is why there are several people on this forum, self included that feel the urge to cull the herd.

    Mmm. I love deer meat.

When I turn 18 I'm gonna look into getting myself a gun and starting to hunt.

Glad your family and yourself are alright. One of the problems we have is night Moose collisions. They're black, tall and have absolutely no car sense. Many folks killed and injured every year.

On another note, they are great hunting, with our season only being 3 days, the past three days as a matter of fact.....I shot a Bull in 2000......UmmmUmmm good.:)

The three day season is only for Moose, and you have to enter a draw at that.If drawn, you can also tack a second hunter on to your licence but you must be together at all times and the limit is one-Bull or Cow.Our Deer season starts in November and runs six weeks.
