You know that actually doesn't look bad at all in gray. If you had a gray accent up front (to be determined) you might not even need to paint it. Sort of looks cool. And maybe painting it white might be too much white. Just a thought ...

What’s the difference between the OEM TRD start/stop button and MESO?

    I don't know.

From a design perspective, white is the safest. Black and the Storm Trooper look is great but pretty much overdone at this point (nothing wrong with that by the way).

Not saying this should be done ... but there is something interesting about the gray from a design perspective that raises the question of a different look and feel. Worth exploring if people want to get away from white and black.

But, then again, what do I know. I have a gray truck ...

    Looks great.
I did one door yesterday and then it started raining on me, so I went back inside. Now I have a mismatched truck. (until later today)

If you get on BAM wholesale, the tailgate lock is $129 just search the same part number. they have a short box and long box part number tho so just make sure to get the one you need. I ordered from there and it was cheaper eben with shipping. And its OEM toyota. super easy to install all plug and play

Thank you. With all the black they stuck out like a sore thumb, I was hesitant at first but glad I did.

You may even be able to get it a little cheaper and a bit quicker going through your local dealership. With the free shipping that Toyota is doing right now for orders over $75, most dealerships seem to be willing to price match other dealerships online prices. Looks like you could probably get one ordered by the dealership for about $3 less total and it would likely arrive within a day or two for pickup at the dealership.

Solved the spilled beer problem! $10 Mat from harbor freight. Cut strips of the same material to fill in the valleys and covered it up. Easier on the knees also.20210518_151045.jpg

I really like this - it's in my price range and it looks easy. Assuming that is the $9.99 anti-fatigue floor mat, correct?

What are you using to hold it in place?

That's the one. Used a little 3m double-sided tape and these little thingies. Can't remember what they are called. Use a real sharp knife and straight edge to cut the mat. If you go slow you can get a pretty good edge.20210518_154118.jpg
