Surprised your steering rack survives with those tires.

@frenchee it actually did well with a set of Krawlers even. 35x13.5. And low pressure. Big rocks. I was impressed how well it held up!

Lmaoo. I’ve had the bug thing since 2015 when I bought the truck. Not like I should care anymore but yeah , no rock chips no bugs a clean front end so I’ve kept it.
Yeah I added a lot of spendy bits this year which is interesting since it used to be a budget build. Now it’s a luxury build lol.
I should make a build thread. Everything has been replaced on it. Tons of mods all DIY. Boxed frame, reinforced spindles, relocated rear kings ,dual battery, fridge, blablaaablaaw.
They are manual hubs from when I swapped 2wd to 4wd.
Thanks for the compliments all, I don’t post the truck too much.

I know the difference between a hilux (which none are here in the USA) and a tacoma double cab (USDM model). A few years ago, I service a low mileage, clean USDM 2002 tacoma double cab (yes, 4 door) 2.7l 3rz 4wd color silver (if you want to know) automatic TRD model with an elocker. Had all the factory bell and whistle: TRD label on the bed side, SR5 on the rear door, ADD diff and push button H/L tcase, 4wd mud flap, no prerunner emblem on the tailgate, factory push button RR lock. Owner is an older lady and I want to say she's the original owner. I doubt she paid someone to do the 4wd conversion, add the Elocker etc etc etc.

I'm sure certain specs can be special order from factory. I was very confused to see a 3rz 4wd double cab as well, from the normal 2wd 3rz double cab.
