currently in the process of buying billys for my 07 double cab once they are back in stock at downsouthmotorsports. but my question is are they gonna ride rough if they're cranked out at 2.5 or 2.75? looking for a good quality 3 inches of lift all around so i was planning on doing them with ome coils and the 1/4 top plate spacer if i need it along with the aal. any opinions or people have any experience with this set up? But i mean anything will be better than my stock susp with my 2 inch front spacers lol

It will be stiffer than stock.. my OME 885S and struts are stiffer than my TRD OR struts, but not drasticly.

me too bro those were the wheels i've wanted since i got into the truck scene. so tired of seeing monsters and rockstars EVERYWHERE so i had my sites on them looking to run the 17x9's but in a tire predicament don't know what size i want at least 285's just scared my tires wont have that beefy look to them and wont stick out past my flares

It was gonna be either the addicts or Hoss, so glad I went with the Hoss instead. Rockstars are lame.. I see em a lot where i live too... Over used rim. If you get rims with a 4.5 backspacing, they will stick out. What tires do you have in mind?

I have the Billy 5100's with the 885's and 1/4 top plate spacer. Just set your Billy's at 0" height and you will be fine. I got just around 3"s of lift and maybe a tad higher. If your gonna go anything 2.5"s or higher, it is highly recommended that you get some aftermarket UCA's to get your alignment back to factory specs. In the rear I have 2" AAL's and Icon reservoir shocks. It sits pretty much level and I love it. If you want wheels that stick out for a meaner stance and want to add 285's, look for ones that have a 4.5" backspacing or a -12mm offset and you should be good to go.

well an audio place i work at sometimes when they need a hand deals rim's and tires from a guy that deals a lot of good brands and i know he carries toyo kumho nitto and a couple others and i could get them cheaper than an online price but a friend of mine bought 295/65/18" duratracs who would sell them to me for dirt and they only have 3k on them but worried if i can fit them and if the duratracs don't work out im hopin to get some toyo mt's cheap :) but if not ill take whatever is on the cheap side being that i'm only running them during the summer
