I haven't done any car audio stuff in some time so i figured i'd come to the experts looking for some help

so i'm looking to replace my sub in my truck and looking to put in probably 1 10". So here are my 2 questions (which i know are probably reposts, and i'm going to continue searchings as well).

    1) what is a good 10" sub amp combo for punk/metal/rock that will run me around $500.00

    2) does anyone know here to get a box for an access cab, xtreme kreations no longer makes door panels, Mr. Marv is i guess pretty busy, and the ********* box is way to expensive

A few mods here and there and counting....
I just built a box for my double cab and use the following sub and amp combo. Great sound and more then enough bass for me and not so much for the others outside the truck. I did however sound deadened the rear wall and doors. The gain isn't even out of the stock normal setting. I'm very happy with my setup.

I also ordered it from the sonicelectronix, great customer service and fast shipping time.

500w rms is a good amount of power. especially to be pushing to 1 smaller sub in an access cab.

i would personally only put a 300w rms in.

    like a jl 10w3v3

and yes, that is the harness to connect your aftermarket radio to the factory wiring.
