Eibach PRO TRUCK Coilover 2.0 Stage 2

Anyone know where i can get a new spanner wrench? Cant find it on eibach’s website.

I gotta ask, how high are you lifted up front for the eibach 2.0 coil overs? It looks to be 3" exactly what I wanted.

Has anyone ever tried setting the stage 2 coilovers to 3" of lift on a 3rd gen?

 

It’s at about 3in of lift. The ride is noticeably stiffer then at 2 1/2in, but not harsh at all.

 

Is it maxed out or are there still threads left?

 

Not much left, I’d take a pic but it’s hard at that angle. I wouldn’t go more then what I set it at anyway. This is how much is showing on the bottom of the coilover.

Could you attach more pics of your truck? I'm really digging the stance and setup you got.

I don't mind a lil stiffness tho, better than a spacer lift imo.

And thanks for answering my question, you finally gave me the hope for these coil overs. 2.75-3" Is just all I need. Btw did you install a diff drop spacer?

 

Hows it going over bumps, imperfections etc?

 

Thanks for sharing! This is the route I wanted to go after learning thAt eibach had kits. I saw the tacoma beast video and learned about it. You definitely cant go wrong from such a huge reputable brand

 

Going over bumps the coilovers are very comfortable, but I’m not doing any high speed off-road driving. No imperfections as far as fit and finish. The adjuster wrench could be better, but it does the job.

 

What size tires? And man that setup looks good. Definitely know where to set my height. I'm assuming it's sitting actually around 2.75-2.80" of lift?

What's the height of the rear? What did you go with?

 

285/70 17 tires. Wheels are 17x8.5 -10 offset. Rear is Icon add a leaf. 1.75-2in of lift. Might be changing it out to a full leaf pack because I’m planning to add weight to the bed.

 

Sweet setup, thank for sharing. I love the build. I don't plan on putting weight on the truck as it's my daily driver and that would be silly to haul all that stuff around even just to work. Buuuutttt. I dig the stance, and this would be my route, stance is just perfect on ur build.

Short time lurker here, after reading through this thread a couple times I've decided to start my build with these Eibach PRO TRUCK Coilover 2.0's.

Wanted to get some thoughts on the Frankenstein build I had in mind:

Front-
Eibach PRO TRUCK Coilover 2.0's cranked to 2.5" - 2.75" of lift
Freedom offraod UCA's
Diff Drop

Rear-
Old man Emu 2.75" full leaf replacement medium load (heard the 3rd gens should only expect about 2"?)
Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shocks for 2-3" Lift
will throw the drive shaft spacer in for good measure

Wheel/Tire-
some 17x8.5 -10
285/70/17 Pro Comp AT's (have 35's on an open wrangler and love how quiet they are)

I'm not so concerned about rake, anywhere between factory and level is fine. More concerned with ride quality on and off road. The mix of brands is largely based on availability.

Pro's and Con's of this set up? Advice?

 

I'd say skip the diff drop imo. I mean after all you are trying to gain ground clearance right? I've been hearing OME coils and leafs would sag wayy to early. Idk about now but I guess it depends which dealer has that faulty batch. So I'm going with all pro 3" leaf pack.

 

Any new when Elbach pro truck 2.0 be back on stock?

 

Wheelers off road. Bought only the rear to help the ride a lil bit. Surprisingly for only the rears, it improve my ride quality. Absorbs bumps and dips very well, less bouncy yet very firm. Definitely saving up for the 2.0 coil overs. Tho I am waiting for the reservoir shocks to be release. Then ill swap out my rear eibach's. Hope this helps

Have any news when’s that rear suspension w/ rese going in production. I read on Eibach web still on test.

 

I checked about a month ago and they still arent releasing date yet.
