front D rings

why is everybody buying extra d rings when you can jsut use the rail system.....works fine for me

 

If you rely on the rail system to secure a motorcycle you will be picking your bike out of someone's windshield someday.

 

Besides weight load, its the ability to hold things down to the bed securely.

For example, hauling 8ft beams or 12ft Kayaks, you want the front of the cargo strapped tight to the bed floor. This makes the front bed D rings a good idea. The high rail mounted D rings have no leverage and do not hold the front end of the cargo down.

Made mine for $10. Well worth it.

 

ya i just use mine for the dirtbikes works fine and its always really fastebed down never comes loose even when i have like 3 in there at a time

 

Good luck when your cleats break and drop the bikes, damage them, and crack the composite bed.
