The jim hudson toyota dealership around columbia, SC always has good service. very professional and very friendly. only thing is that so many people use it for maintenance that there is usually an hour and a half wait, but they have a nice place to wait with a cafe. they are good and i trust them for the most part. i would give them a 7.5 out of 10 and 10 being the best.

Scott Clark's salesmen are crooks. I have had them try to literally extort more money from me AFTER they bought my trade in car and I had signed the purchase order. Very, very machiavellian dealership. They seem to be more focused on getting more money from you than creating a happy customer. Avoid at all costs.

    Reliable Toyota, Springfield, MO--:frusty:

A year after buying my Taco I only had about 4k miles on it due to a deployment. When I got home my clutch went out rolling down the freeway. I took it to the dealership and they said it was due to the tranny not being in proper alignment. Here is the kicker though...they said the warranty will not cover it because it was the cluth. All in all had to put a new tranny, engine mounts, flywheel, pressure plate and throw out bearing. After about a month of bitching to Corporate Toyota I was reimbursed my $6000 I spent on the thing.

Absolutley hate that dealership! Now I am at FLW and the dealership here trys to turn everything in on the warranty, and most of the time they come through for me.

You gotta have gonads to name your dealership "Reliable". Or be able to lie with a straight face.

I have purchased from 2 dealers in NH,#1 Rochester toyota; great sales team but service manager is an @$%^...
:)(why I went back to Dube for my recalls):)

#2,Bill Dube, purchased my 1st Toyo from them in '81 ( 1st new car at age 20..they went to bat for me;) ) and purchased the next 4 from them until I met the salesmanager from he!l....

Now enter Toyotas recalls,Bill Dube service department steps up and cleary "EARNS" a customer back...Complete frame replacement, including the little things..matched my Rancho shock prices with TRD's PLUS a Prius for 11 days ( If my wife has her way,a Blizzard White 2010 will be ours by years end:rolleyes: ).......These guys called me as they were "canabilizing" old to new,so I could view the process and watch these two techs treat my baby as if it were their own:cool:........

Toyota has me for life BUT Bill Dube recreated "Oh what a feeling"..

    Snoope

This is not a paid for endorsement BUT if a "Discount" happens on the purchase price of a Prius.we will not argue ;):)

Bill Dube Ford/Toyota, Dover, NH - Never bought a truck from them but have used them for service for years. Their service dept. is very good and they have Hunter balancing equipment for wheels/tires. On the one occasion they forgot one item that needed doing, they did the work with no labor charge after and gave me a free oil change. Good people.

Rochester Toyota, Rochester, NH - I bought my '09 from them and got my rear spring TSB done through them shortly after without too much of a hassle. In return, I will have them install my 5100's in the front, alignment, and mount balance my wheels this time as they just installed Hunter equipment as well. Very good people to deal with.

Edit - Just noticed Snoope's comment on Rochester Toyota....the Service Director is kind of a dink but in the end, solved my TSB issue for me. Thumbs up for now!

    bb609,

I like to hear that Rochester is getting their "Stuff" together outback...Lisa must be "cracking " the whip ;)....... but I tried twice to get the Taco in for the ball joint recall and got nothing but "white noise" and ordering parts was hurry up and wait.....sad thing is Tim and Kasey (retired) have treated us well on all purchases ...

BD is 5 minutes away,Rochester is 20.....and CS is very important to my loyalty...

Lisa is a piece of work eh? I met her last time I was in. I live in Rochester otherwise I would still be using BD. I ordered touch up paint from RT and waited 2 weeks for it. Meanwhile, I picked up a tube from BD the same day. I was going to use BD for my install but found out that RT has a new Hunter machine so I'll go there as long as they treat me right.

I lived in Newmarket for a few years and owned a restaurant in Durham for a while. You must be nearby.

Just down the Spaulding, exit 7:cool:...We did cruise over to Portsmouth Toyo about a month ago to look at Camry's BUT WOW......no thanks, pressure can not begin to be told...

I enjoy trusting the folks working on my "Toyo's" and Dube has earned that...If this rain will stop I will take some pix of the new frame and parts...

Easy to spot my Taco if your in the area,my sig is also my tag ;)....only thing missing is one of those Taco World Stickers:D..

    Snoope back quiet

p.s. Mom just reminded me of our one BAD Toyo experience,Dealer in Leesburg Florida ( we vacationed there for 8 1/2 years;))....Walked in ready too buy and after telling the salesman my choices ,I spun around to Mom and asked what color she liked....poor fool stuck his foot in his mouth and said "WE don't let our wives make those decisions".....I bought a new Ranger that afternoon;).......Women DO NOT FORGET anything:rolleyes:

I bought from Cox Toyota, Burlington NC and was very pleased with the sales experience.

Toyota West, Statesville NC has been good for parts and information, I plan to try their service dept. when the time comes, or if I need any warranty work done.

Stay the hell away from Cloninger Toyota, Salisbury NC. Much more focused on getting your dollar than anything else.

I bought my truck at "Hanlees" in Davis, CA and was very pleased with the sales dept. However, the service dept. is another story.. Their work is good, but every time I take it in for even a simple service it seems they try to sell me something else I don't need (Like the $85.00 I had to pay to get the cabin air filter changed). Ya, it was definitely time to do it, but I shoulda followed Djerm's write up on it. Awesome idea--He used cutouts from a home A/C filter. I've been consulting the folks here at TW for everything since!

Germain Toyota of Naples. Excellent service. Make sure you speak to Ann Marie and let her know that you know me. She will take care of everything. Build a relationship with her. She honored my rear springs TSB without an absurd amount of questions and performed the tailgate TSB out of warranty.

Tim's Toyota, Prescott, AZ. I noticed the TSP on my 2008 Rear Springs at Tacoma World and all the trouble some have had getting their dealers to cooperate with the install. I e-mailed Tim's to make an appointment and noted the TSP. I got an e-mail back that said that the parts were ordered and that I'll be contacted for an appointment when they come in. I never had to leave the house. Good service!!! Don

Did my frame replacement, and at first seemed fine. When it came time to go get my truck, I almost lost my Alcan rear springs to the junk pile, the front desk hadn't bothered to tell the mechanics to put the springs in the back of my truck like I asked (3 times!!) The Alcans where still attached to the frame and it was all in a pile waiting to get recycled or whatever they do with the old frames. Then, 2 1/2 weeks or so later, my check engine light comes on. After looking into the P0420 code I find out one reason for it might be exhaust leaks, so I get under the truck and sure enough, I've got a major leak just after the cat, where it joins with the rest of the exhaust, before the rear O2 sensor. The 2 bolts that joined the cat and exhaust where barely hanging on, I unscrewed them both with just my fingers. If the check engine light hadn't warned me I probably wouldn't have found that, at least not for a long time. So overall, not really happy with them. For my troubles they sent me a free oil change! Wow, thanks!

I purchased a used toyota certified 2006 tacoma double cab trd off road from Ron Tonkin Toyota in Portland,Oregon. I think they are a fantastic dealership to deal with. To make a long story short, I purchased the extended warranty, and I am glad I got it. My factory CD player decided to get a glitch, and needs replacing, I went to the dealership wondering? if I was going to get your typical Royal Run Around ''We can't find the problem'' EXCUSE But instead got a, No problem!!! we will order the new stereo and give you a call you when it arrives, to exchange it out for you. No Questions asked. All I can say is this dealership is a class act.

Germain Toyota Columbus Ohio, Purchased 2 trucks from them service has been excellent. I had to deal with the body shop due to a warranty issue with front bumper and their service was flawless. They had me set up for a rental made sure it was a Camry not a Yaris and had the truck back to me in 3 days. I have nothing but good to say about them and apparently Viet2100 has a good relationship with one of Germain's Florida dealerships too... Good dealership Good People

    Lethbridge, Alberta. Shitty dealership!

I had a really loud squeaking / creeking sound everytime I pushed my clutch in. Took it in under warranty and they said no problem we will look at it and call you when it's done, shouldn't be long. hours go by so I call them. 'Yea it's all done but we didn't find any sounds that aren't normal'.

I go in and just push the pedal in once in the vehicle bay and the sqeak echos the room. 'Oh, that sound, give us a bit longer and we will fix it'. All they had to do was grease the clutch.

My buddy bought a new truck from them and they were treating him as if he was bothering them. He wasn't even trading in a vehicle or asking for a lower price. He was only upset that they were going to charge him $200+ for some old dude to drive the truck down here from Calgary (about 200 km). The sales manager, some new skinny prick, out of no where tells my friend to stop harassing his sales staff.
