I'm wondering the same thing too....I want to get the BFGoodrich AT 285/70/17 and wondering what rims I should get. One other possibility for tires are the Micky Thompson ATZ's.

i would stay close to a 4.5 backspace. the greater the backspace the more the wheel tucks in (more rubbing issues)

Thanks for the info. Is 4.5 backspacing the standard on the stock rims. And I have to say Rick that the wheel and tire combo you have put together are some of the nicest I've seen!! Great job.:D

Nice chart Rick, that would be great to make into a sticky or in the mods & tutorials since that question is asked about 5 times a day. Was that bitter ? I can never tell ?

So to clarify, if I'm running stock wheels on the 3" lift and it rubs the lower control arm at full lock, and I buy wheels with a 3.5" offset, it would be like having 1" wheel spacers without actually having wheel spacers? The whole offset thing really confuses me so I apologize for continually beating this dead horse
