Spontaneous trip to Moab-favorites I should consider?

Spring break is coming and I have some family free time to go exploring. Never been to Moab, so thought it looked dusty and warm enough to consider. Tried this on the trails page and got snuffed so wondering if my 2nd gen crew has opinions. 4-5 days. Dispersed camping. Basically stock 2015 dblc. Go!

 

I've always wanted to drive white rim road in canyon lands. Need a permit though

 

I've been to moab many times. Grab the Charles Wells/ Fun treks trail book.

A stock vehicle can handle most all of the trails in the Medium category if you have some experience offroad and knowing vehicle clearance. Thea easy trails are pretty much dirt roads. I had a built crawler for all of my trips so I always stuck to the difficult end of the trail list. I did like Tusher Tunnel, Gemini Bridges, Monitor and Merrimac, Potash road/schafer switchbacks which I seem to remember will work for stock.

I'll be on White Rim this weekend actually, This will be my second time. There are plenty of other roads and trails in Moab that are similar to white rim, just none as long.

The dispersed camping on Chickens Corner was absolutely amazing, by far one of the highlights of the trip. I was the only one out there and I think this was the best camping spot (look in the far right corner lol)

Last November, I hit Moab in my semi-stock truck. Fins and Things and Hells Revenge were completed with just a little tail dragging. Did Metal Masher(or was it Fender Bender??) and on that one I gave the skids and sliders a little work out.

 

You can drive the Schaefer Switchbacks and out thru Long Canyon with out a permit.
