I used eastwoods internal frame coating and sprayed all up into the inside of my 2005 dodge 2500 rear fenders where the rust was coming through. Dodge engineers did a great job designing the fenders with little pockets to hold dirt and water just above the pinch weld where the outside panel meets the inside fender well. I drilled holes in the pockets and sprayed out the dirt and dried it out good. Then sprayed the internal frame coating. Hopefully that will stop the rust from continuing on the inside and the herculiner looks great covering the rust as a fender flare on the outside. The spray nozzle worked great to get up on the inside of the fender well between the outside panel and the wheel well. The coverage was really good and it seemed to run into all the pinch welds good where all the panels come together. It's only been a month or so with winter coming on so I don't know how well it actually works at stopping further rust but I have high hopes.

I have a 00 Jeep Wrangler that I picked up a year ago in rough shape both in, out and under. I've been working on it since, they often rot from in and outside the frame so I decided it wouldn't hurt to coat the inside.

They send an extended spray hose (about a foot in length) very easy to snake into frame or bolt holes and is very well attached and wont fall off when twisting.

The end of the hose has 4 small hole points so when you spray the liquid comes out in a spread out scatter shot of a spray which is good to get as much coverage as possible when spraying.

The liquid is messy and spreads also good to cover top to bottom inside the frame (Just watch over spray and placing the hose to far and having it leak out another hole.

It is hard to see areas you may miss but you will get the majority and anywhere there is coating i'am confident is protected now.

Cans cover a fair amount I recommend using a air gun to blow out any dirt you can before spraying and getting at least 2 cans depending on the length of you vehicle.

This is the best rust converter because of the way it expands into the tiny rust pores and gives a deep conversion the first pass without needing to go over it again several times.

I've used a number of rust converters on my van and this is the one I like the best because it gives a very deep coating the first pass and you have the job done much sooner than the other converters.

To use any converter, you should ideally go over it with an angle grinder and paint stripper wheel first to remove the surface rust. This is not required but helps a great deal.

With other rust converters, when you spray or paint them on, the liquid just sits on the surface and you'll need to give 3 or passes over 2 or 3 days to really get a completely black coverage. With this, when you spray it on the liquid has something in it that makes it expand directly into the pores and you're done the first application. You can then give it a coat of bondo and paint and enamel to seal it in.

Some people have complained that this converter does not last, but all forms of rust prevention will eventually fail, even hot dipped zinc galvanization will eventually rust. This lasts longer than the other converters I've tried so it is my favorite. You should expect to check up on the rusted area at least once a year and give it another little respray and touch up coat of paint.

The hose will probably clog after the first time you use it, so if you're doing an internal coating expect to do it all in one sitting. I use it on external parts mainly so the clogged hose is not a problem. It would be nice if they included two hoses but that's not a big deal.

    Overall 5/5, highly recommended.

Not as good as I hoped. Hard to spray in tight areas and the coating seems questionable. (note- I have not had in on for long. We'll see after a winter )

Well, honestly it's hard to know how well this will work, but it seemed to apply very well. The nozzle worked well, and is wasn't as messy as I thought it might be. It flowed well so that gave me the impression it will run into little nooks well.

Wear rubber gloves and use a drop cloth, as it will drip out of the frame drain holes.

I used two cans for my 2003 Tacoma frame. Could have used a third can for inner coating other things (e.g. the gas tank protector plate), but two cans seemed sufficient for the frame. Might do this every couple years.

Appears to be a great product, had good adhesion where I was able to see, and is a very thin paint so it gets in every nook and cranny. Like many have said, it will drip from every hole and seam that it can. The only BAD thing I could say is that the 24" tube is curly from being stored wound up. This makes it difficult when applying as the nozzle will often be twisted into the corner and you will have to spin the tube to get proper coverage on the inside frame rails. Not a big deal, but a good portion of the product can be wasted if you don't pay attention. I recommend stretching the tube out and letting it sit in a warm area for a day to remove some of the curl.

2 cans did one coat of the rear frame rails on my 74 Dodge Dart Sport's unibody. Would need about 6 cans total to do the whole car with the recommended 2 coats.

coats well with the spray nozzle and gets into frame joints, does drip at first until it sets and is slow to dry. Has a strong odor at first, but it goes away after a few days. Will have to wait and see if it keeps rust away from inside of frame. I think two coats would be better than one because of frame area, but still good product

3.0 out of 5 stars This is a 1 time use can
Reviewed in Canada on September 28, 2022
This comes with a long flexible 12'' nozzle to get into your frame to spray but be warned- you get 1 shot at this as you will never get the nozzle cleaned out again & the can is now useless. Product works great but be prepared to use it all at once, don't think that you can use this can multiple times, it's a 1-shot deal

3.0 out of 5 stars Expensive and too thin
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 25, 2015
This product was very thin and didnt go as far as I expected, it was also very expensive.
For the rest of the chassis I used Noxudol 300 which gave great penetration and covering and was less than a third of the price
