Quite easy to install. I highly recommend going to your local Home Depot and purchasing some 3M tape incase the tape that comes with the curtains isn't as strong to hold. Overall, installation is easy and is helpful when "sexy time" happens lol.
The Curtains are still up, however a few of the plastic balls that hold the curtain into the railing have broken off from wear and tear. I looked at the ones still in tact, and you can tell that they have wear and any time will break off and not support/hold the curtains in place. If these were made with a metal of some sort, it would last longer, however just be careful on how you slide the curtains open and shut. I now close the curtains, using both hands, to ensure there is no friction or weight, causing more distress to the small plastic ball mount. I am going to try and flip the curtain, so the broken ball mounts are closest to door and away from the mirror to see if that helps, and if all else fails, buy a new set (these are pretty cheap as is)
---------- Car curtains are radical! You can get some privacy when you need, or just plainly keep your car cooler from the sun's UV rays. I've wanted curtains for some time now, and finally bit the bullet and ordered a set of these curtains for the front windows of my black 04 scion xb. The rest of my xB is covered with Limo tint except the front windows (CA legality) but wanted some of the privacy that curtains offer, so I ordered the 70CM model and they fit great. In fact, I sold these curtains to a couple of my co-workers as well.
However, I did knocked this item 2 stars because of the 3 issues I have with the curtains. 1. The "VIP" Strap is too blingy for me, but the main issue is that the Velcro catches on the curtain and has been fraying the curtain from inside. Outside the car, you can't tell, but inside you can see the fraying.
2. After the initial install of the curtains, I noticed some of the pieces started coming undone due to poor double sided adhesive tape. I ended up removing the entire setup, and custom cutting stronger 3m tape to hold these piece in place in the car (especially when it gets hotter, cheaper adhesive tends to lose its grip.
3. Lastly, the bottom plastic rail has to stick to the bottom of window sill. It sticks up about 1/4 inch, but enough to be a PITA (Pain In The Arm... see what i did there:) when you have your windows open and trying to rest your arm there.
Overall, I am pleased with the Curtains, and probably replace them with another set when these start looking terrible due to the velcro fraying the inside of the curtains.
I say 2 stars because the curtain looks well built the tape on the other side is very bad I mean bad. it doesn’t fit my windows I have a 2017 gmc serria crew cab the curtains where’s too short on height length wise was perfect now I have to buy double sided tape because there tape was garage really garage wish they had taller size
Just ok. I wasn't able to get the bottom slider bars to stick so I just used the top ones and slid the curtain onto those so the curtain just hangs free at the bottom. I bought these for the back windows for my kids for the hot Arizona summer. The curtain is a great material that blocks the sun well. The bars are very flimsy and bend very easily.
