Spyder Auto's LED style tail lights are a great upgrade both aesthetically and functionally over your stock tail lights. All of our LEDs are supplied by Philips Lumileds, the leading brand in LED technology. Light Bar Tail Lights

Spyder Auto's Light Bar tail lights are a great upgrade both aesthetically and functionally over your stock tail lights. The light bar tail lights add dimension to your parking lights, making your car or truck stand out from the crowd. It makes your car or truck easily noticed by adding visual appeal through updated styling. The light housings are direct plug and play installation, no modification required.     Quality is ok, noticed slight scratches on lenses, but are not too noticeable unless you look real close. The edges of the lenses are a little rough, when they were trimmed from the mold after production it doesnt appear that too much care was given to quality. The turn signal and reverse bulb sockets do not have a &#34;stop&#34; tab molded into the socket housing, if you put the bulb in and turn it, it will just turn 360 degrees, you have to just pay attention to how far you turn. There IS enough tension in the socket housing in the lens to hold the light bulb and socket but you may want to check them periodically or devise your own &#34;fix&#34;. Anyway, the price is ok for these lights but i really did expect a little better quality. The led's look great and set my truck apart from every other 2009 Toyota Tacoma in my area.The amount of money I spent on these is about the same as it would have cost for ONE factory tail light assembly. One thing I did choose to do before my install was I taped off the lens edges and used Black RTV silicone and sealed the edges where the lens and housing meet. Just take your time and allow to cure before handeling so you dont make a mess of your new light assemblies. After 4 washes I am happy to say that I have not observed ANY moisture build up inside the light assemblies. But, be warned that I do believe that the factory warranty will be voided if you choose to seal the lenses yourself. To conclude, I am for the most part happy, looks good for a truck thats already 7 years old. I would just hope that if i purchase another set for whatever later down the line that they will be just a little better quality as far as finish.

    You will see conflicting reviews on all aftermarket headlights and taillights. Some will love the product while others hate it.
    (i got this as an Amazon Warehouse deal)
    The fit and finish of the product feels similar to the stock, everything wires up similarly although there is no wire retainers to hold the excess wires as with the factory lights. The instructions flipped the wiring diagram for me but overall everything looks good and is much brighter than stock (because it's LED)

    We'll see how it does in the long run but overall I'm pleased with the product and wish I would've bought it sooner.

    Total installation time was about 10 minutes for the first light and 2 minutes for the second one. (learning curve)

I've also purchased the headlights and fogs kits as well, but will probably had a professional install. I don't want to pull the front bumper myself.     Great product and fantastic upgrade to the look at my truck. They only bummer is they have a third light option to replace the solid red one but the cost is way too hi. I would recommend they add a combo deal to get all the light replaced at once. I highly recommend and it is a really easy do it yourself job.

    I got these lights a couple of weeks ago because I don't like the how the original light look. I can tell you they make a heck of a difference on how the truck looks. I have a metallic grey truck and these smoked red lights just make the truck look so much better. The lights are super easy to install. Just have to re use the light bulbs in the original tail lights and you re up and running. Highly recommended.

    Nice fit on 2007 Toyota Tacoma with easy install.
    KEY THING TO NOTE: The instructions on the wiring for the LED portion tell you to align with the black wire. There is no black wire on the connector on the 2007 Toyota Tacoma. There is a Green wire with a black stripe which provides the correct alignment.

    These arrived on time and installed very easily, but the lights appear to be wired wrong from the factory. The regular tail light is the brightest (I think it's actually the brake light) and then when you hit the brakes you only get a very subtle increase in brightness. I have had at least 3 friends phone me to tell me my tail lights are too bright and my brakes lights barely show up. (the third light down from the top - red circles - are only a reflectors - no bulb). When the weather warms up, I will uninstall them, take them apart, cut the wiring and see if I can cross wire the two leads to switch the running vs break lights. (Turn lights and back up lights seem to be correct from the factory). Very frustrating!
