    I purchased these as additional backup lights for my 2010 Ford F150. They are bright enough to let me see my trailer tongue and hitch through my backup camera at night.The install was fairly easy. They bolted to the lower portion of my bumper just outside of my tow hitch. The install took about an hour and a half. I had to run a powered line from the battery, through the engine compartment and under the truck to the rear brake light. In there I attached a relay to the reverse lights so the LEDs would come on when I put the truck in reverse.As soon as I put the truck in reverse the LEDs quickly come on with no delay. I would recommend these set of lights. They have so many uses. I am also considering using them to as fog lights and night time lights for my boat.

    As many reviewers had said - these are bright and metal case = sturdy!
    Now, bright doesn't mean they are like the 36 inch flood (led) bars - there are only 6 leds in each light so set your expectations right. I mounted these on a bull bar for my Taco and they look nice and do the trick when I need extra light.

    Installation is easy, not much of instructions, but there is just a few bolts to screw. These are adjustable in all 3-axis - slide up, down and sideways plus vertical rotation. Make sure you tighten the bolt that holds the light centered to the fixture so they look nice. Mines were a little off-center, so it was as easy as grabbing an allen wrench (not included) loosen the screw at the base, center it and tighten again. Me and my 11 year old installed these in no time.

    IMPORTANT - these do NOT include a wiring harness. You will need it to connect them to your electrical system (relay and a switch). You can get this on Amazon or any auto store. Make sure you take this into account when buying if you have not done the wiring.

    Would you rather spend $20 on an 8 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and fries. Or would you spend $100 on a 1 ounce fillet with a pinch of lettuce? These lights may not be the best cut of meat, but boy do they fill you up! I had these lights mounted on the front grab bar of a 400ex and my welded mounting tabs broke, but the lights still shined. After the broken tabs these lights found themselves bolted up under my truck as back up lights. My big redneck mud tires know how to sling mud, rocks, snow, asphalt, and occasionally small trees. These lights have have taken a beating under my truck right behind the tire and still work every time! Now these lights aren't a 55" ridgid light bar and never will be. They are small and compact and cast enough light to see while at slow speeds or while backing up. If you are looking for angelic lighting that makes NASA think aliens are coming, don't buy these lights! These function perfect for their size and inexpensive cost.

    Bought these to replace a set of fog lights with 55W H3 halogen / xenon bulbs. These lights are way brighter than the H3, and the distance that they project light is also better. The mounting brackets are also way more solid; and eliminate (almost) all of the vibration that I had with my old lights. The body of the lights are metal, the end caps are (really solid) plastic, the lenses are clear plastic. The end caps are secured with 3 (aprox.) 1" long allen head, machine thread screws that fasten to the body solidly. The lens fits really tight in the light housing and then are secured with 4 allen head screws. The end caps are sealed to the body/housing with rubber gaskets, the lens is sealed to the body/housing with 2 silicone seals. I cannot say that the lights are waterproof but they are VERY water resistant. I have never come across an aftermarket light, anywhere near this price, that is this quality. Side note: I put transparent amber film on the lenses to make them more like fog lights; the lights are so bright that it's like the amber film isn't even there.

    I got these lights about two months ago, but was an adventure. The item arrived on time after anticipating for the ordered to be filled. When arrived, the lights were well packaged and not damaged.
    The quality of these lights is much greater than I expected. After reading most of the reviews, I felt the need to take it apart and silicon the entire thing to prevent water from getting in. To my surprise, the entire assemblies were well sealed. On the glass and the sides with atleast a 3/16" gasket. Feeling like that would be sefficient I srewed it all back together and hoped for the best. It was $20, it it breaks, then I'll just buy another one.
    After looking in the box for a while trying to figure out how to mount them, I realized that the mounting brackets were not packaged with the lights to my dissapointment. That's why this is not a five star. After a few messages between the seller, I recived the bracket about a week later. The only thing about those were that they were used when I got them...
    About a month later, these lights are doing great! Right now in California we are seeing the biggest rain in 100 years and these little guys have absolutely no moisture inside them! These lights are great for the price and I would definitely recommend to a friend. I will do a review in 6 month to see how well they hold up!
