    Just finished installing these onto my '15 Taco double cab and an highly impressed. At the 170 or so shipped, these are a bargain. These were exactly what I was looking for. Simple, plain, functional, and cheap. They don't hang down so low to where they impact ground clearance at all, and look like they stick out far enough to where inconsiderate people in parking lots will only damage their own cars instead of your truck.Installation is a breeze, as it utilizes factory mounting points. A couple tips for those who buy this....* Pay attention before you rip the plastic wrapping off the bars. One will be clearly labeled "driver" or something to that effect. Keep track of which is which, as they are not interchangeable. There was a bad review on here saying the middle bracket didn't fit... That was because they had the sides switched...* Install the brackets first of course, but ONLY FINGER TIGHTEN. Leave them really loose to where the bracket will slide and angle easily.* Put the rail on the brackets starting from the center. Again, finger tighten only. Once all screws are in, rotate the rail to where the steps are flat as possible. At that point, while applying tension still, tighten the bracket to the truck fully and then the rail to the bracket. That will sort of lock in the positioning of the rail, and then tighten everything else down.

    These were a great Mod for my 2011 Tacoma DoubleCab. Now, I don't have to worry about door dings from cars in parking lots. Trucks or vehicles that sit higher will still ding, as they're higher than the rails.

    However, I will lift my truck eventually and be fine then.

    Back to the subject, these were a super easy install with clear instructions and they are solid as a rock. They also look really nice on the vehicle.

    Westin makes a fine product and I'd buy em again.

    Asked for the step bar to fit for the 05 Toyota Tacoma 4 door with access cab(which is the inverted half door). Instead they keep sending me regular 4 door steps that don't fit. Step is to long! Contacted them multiple times and told them what is wrong, but they keep sending me the wrong steps. Worst service ever!

    This is not exactly the product that is pictured or described. Both the picture and description of this product describe a 90-degree mandrel. It even shows that on the picture on the box. Rather, it's about a 30-45 degree bend mandrel - not that it doesn't look good; it's just not what's described. To be clear, I am not dissatisfied with the way this looks, but it's not what I expected. Given the choice, I'm not sure I would have picked the 45-degree mandrel, but I cannot say I would not have either.

    Pros: This fit perfectly for my 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 with double cab. Like other reviewers described, Toyota has factory-tapped holes for which this step bar lines up perfectly. The holes have little plugs in them, and you just need a flat-head screwdriver to unscrew these plugs. All you need for the install is a 13mm socket wrench. That's right, just two tools for the job. The directions were easy to follow and included clear pictures that are specific to the Toyota Tacoma. In fact, these were some of the best directions for any product I had ever seen. It took me slightly longer than others to install this - it took about 45 minutes, but I'm on crutches right now. The hardware looks solid, and it comes with washers and lock washers, too. Brass hardware goes under the truck, and the black hardware mounts under the step bars.

    Of course, I did the "stand and bounce" test on these. Very solid construction! It seems like a very durable product that will last a long time. And, it looks good. The instructions remind the user to check the bolts and tighten them periodically.

    Cons: I would have given this a 5-star review except for the following things: (1) I already described how it does not match the photo and description. (2) At highway speed, I hear more wind resistance noise from the mounting brackets. (3) When it rains, these bars show every water drop -- not that big of a deal, really. After all, it's on a truck, right? (4) I kind of feel like I'm driving a Westin billboard with the size of the manufacturer's name on the step surface.

    I purchased these so my kids and parents could get into my 2005 Tacoma easier. Quick shipping by Amazon.

    The bars look really nice and were very easy to install. I put them on my truck at night with only a flashlight. As another reviewer recommended, don't tighten any bolts till you have every bolt installed.

    My only gripe, and its only aesthetics, is that the bar is a little too far from the truck body for my liking, I would have preferred it to be a bit tighter (read less air gap). Of course that might make stepping on it harder.

    I bought these for a new 2013 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. They were extremely easy to install. All it took was 2 bolts on each of the brackets attached to the vehicle, and another 2 bolts attaching each bracket to the step. In all it took less than an hour. They look fantastic and are quite beefy. The dealership wanted $450 for a similar but far less attractive step. I would highly recommend this product.
