This punch will not be used for general use as it makes the desired follow up depression from a prick punch.
I would not recommend this on for the usual abuse as it is far better than those suited for bigger jobs while doing one of a kind layouts.
If you need a huge dent, buy a punch designed for making a huge dent and choke up 100% on a 2 pound hammer to make the blow. Most folks have no idea as to how to hit a punch with a hammer and find the punch has flown away making a mess of the job. And often their fingers. Do it right with the right tool and get a prefect painless result.
If you're unsure about how to stake, there are a ton of great tutorials on youtube that I recommend watching.
